OMP KS-3 kart boots, the latest in the new range for those new to the sport or occasional karting use. One of the K Style range of new lightweight karting shoes from OMP. They feature breathable mesh side panels, a slip resistant moulded rubber sole with a soft neoprene ankle for increased movement, designed for kart driving.

Great boots for simracing, stunning design

Over lockdown, I became more heavily invested in sim racing to fill the sudden
abundance of free time we all had. Having upgraded most of my gear, it seemed
only fair that I upgrade from a set of water shoes that were starting to show
their age.

And boy I'm glad I did!

I picked the OMP KS-3 based on their grey and black design, as it's a favourite
colour scheme of mine, and RallyNuts had them with me quicker than a lap of the Nordschleife.
As a result of having these, I've found myself feeling more "mentally prepared" for a race,
as the act of putting them on just adds that little extra bit of immersion. The heel
allows for much more comfortable rolling through the pedal range, alleviating the "dead heel"
feeling that can be common - especially after long races.

I've had these for a few months now, and have had no problems with their quality over that time.
There'd be no hesitation to getting another pair, should the need arise.
