The official countdown to the 2022 Rallynuts Stages Rally is on!

30 March 2022  |  Sadie Matthews

After a fantastic start to the rallying season last week at the 45th Malcolm Wilson Rally in the Lake District, the Rallynuts team are in preparation for our favourite event of the year – the Rallynuts Stages Rally!

Starting from the beautiful village of Builth Wells, this epic 45-mile stage takes drivers into some of the best forest tracks within the Welsh countryside, including Myherin, Sweet Lamb and fan favourite, Hafren. Held over the second weekend in April (8th and 9th) we are expecting over 150 drivers to tackle this infamous course.

The Rallynuts Stages Rally is one of the most popular calendar events for fans of the BTRDA Rally Series, praised for the fantastic organisation and super friendly marshals, this year is set to be one of our most enjoyable races to date.

In its 48th year, the stage is organised and ran by the Midland Manor Motor Club, who work hard throughout the year to ensure this race goes smoothly. The Rallynuts team would like to express a big thank you to all staff involved in this fantastic sporting event, especially to the marshals who spend their own time and money to arrange transport, training, and equipment for motor racing events throughout the UK.
As a small token of appreciation, the Rallynuts team have donated toward the ongoing training of the Stoke Rescue Safety Group [Motor Sport Rescue & Medical Services] team. Should you wish to donate, please contact their team via Facebook or email.

We see a return of our 2003 Subaru Impreza, equipped with the new Cooper M+S Gravel Rally Tyre which has received some fantastic reviews from our customers, praising the unique tread pattern for its grippier stance on tight corners. Driving the Subaru is our Rallynuts owner, Craig Cameron and returning to his co-driver position, Dafydd Evans, who after finishing a respectful 24th place in their first rally together is hoping for a mid-teen finishing position this coming event.
