Introducing the OBP Track-Pro V2 Floor Mounted 3 Pedal System, an advanced solution designed specifically for racing enthusiasts seeking efficiency and comfort. The innovative PRC V2 pedal boxes effectively tackle common challenges faced by drivers during high-performance driving.
One of the standout features of this system is the unique positioning of the master cylinders. By mounting them at the front of the pedal box and facing them rearward, the design allows you to push the pedal box snugly against the firewall or bulkhead. This clever arrangement eliminates the need for master cylinders in the engine bay, providing a cleaner setup and easier access. The result is a streamlined cockpit where the master cylinders are conveniently located at your feet. To enhance safety, an aluminium cover plate can be added to protect your ankles from any potential hazards.
The pedal boxes are constructed to be exceptionally lightweight yet highly durable, thanks to the dual brake master cylinder bias control that offers unparalleled efficiency in braking performance. The pedals themselves are meticulously crafted using CNC machining, which ensures precision and reliability. Additionally, they incorporate low-friction, high-quality oil-impregnated spherical bearings that redefine expectations in pedal box design.
To ensure an ergonomic driving experience, the pedal pads are made from CNC machined billet aluminium and can be adjusted to multiple positions. This customisation allows drivers to fine-tune the pedal ratios, ensuring maximum comfort and responsiveness.
The base frame of the pedal box is built from robust fabricated mild steel, providing enhanced strength and durability. Designed to mount securely against the bulkhead, it offers exceptional stability and support. The frame also features two strategically placed mounting points for the brake master cylinders, accommodating most master cylinders available on the market. These mounting holes are ingeniously designed to allow an angled installation, preventing any interference with your feet and ensuring an unobstructed and efficient driving experience.
The accelerator pedal includes two adjustable throttle stops, allowing you to customise the pedal throw, as well as a sensitive return spring. The rear of the pedal comes standard with a throttle cable linkage, but it is also compatible with Drive By Wire (DBW) systems. To switch to DBW, simply remove the linkage and replace it with a linear potentiometer. The pedals are secured to the pedal box using a stainless steel shaft that passes through each pedal.
