Stilo ST5 R Carbon Rally WL Helmet

Stilo ST5 R Carbon Rally WL Helmet, Stilo ST5 R Carbon Rally Helmet

The all-new shell design of the Stilo ST5 R 8860 Carbon Rally WL helmet was created especially to enable connection with the revolutionary Stilo “WL” wireless communication technology. For maximum weight savings and to surpass the extremely strict FIA 8860-2018 safety criteria, the shell is made entirely of carbon fiber.

Key features include:

Lightweight and Durable Design: The shell is made of 100% carbon fiber, making it both lightweight and incredibly sturdy.

Adaptable Microphone: It includes a magnetic dynamic microphone with noise cancellation, along with spacers that allow the microphone to be positioned closer to the driver’s lips for improved clarity.

Earmuffs: The earmuffs house the intercom speakers and provide excellent isolation from outside sounds. They feature unique foam rubber pads that can be adjusted to change the pressure the earmuffs exert on the head for optimal comfort.

Drinks System Preparation: An optional drinks system is available, allowing drivers to stay hydrated during competitions. The fast-release couplings make it easy to enter and exit the vehicle.

The Stilo ST5 R 8860 Carbon Rally WL Helmet boasts a new Carbon fibre shell manufactured utilising PURO technology which avoids the requirement for a clear coat to be applied. This lowers the weight even further, which can significantly lessen muscular strain.

The tried-and-true Stilo WRC intercom system is still there in the ST5 R WL rally helmet, but the communications port has been redesigned to work with the WL wireless key (available separately), which, when installed, precisely matches the shell’s shape to avoid interfering with FHR posts or straps. To minimise outside noise, the magnetic dynamic, noise-cancelling microphone may be adjusted to the ideal distance from the lips. The speakers are surrounded by noise-absorbing earplugs that significantly lower outside noise and increase comfort. The helmets intercom system is also compatible with older Stilo connected amplifiers so there is no need to change helmets for vehicles which do not have a wireless amplifier.
