Rix Engineering Weld In Seat Rail Kit

Rix Engineering weld in seat mounting brackets. They feature floating 8mm captive nuts within fabricated steel brackets to be welded appropriately onto the CDS steel tubes, once located between your inner sill and tunnel. A favourite in the Mk1 and Mk2 Escorts, but perfect for any car where brackets can be mounted in such a fashion. The kit also contains reinforcing, load spreading plates, for the sills and tunnel to support the tubes. Please remember some trimming, welding and calculation is required to fit these brackets satisfactorily, seek the help of a capable welder if unsure, as seat mountings will be inspected carefully by your scrutineer.
