The motors housed within all SPAL fans are designed for water resistance with an IP68 rating, boasting a remarkable lifespan of up to 20,000 hours. These cooling fans are designed for directional airflow and can be configured to either pull air (when mounted on the engine side of the radiator, drawing air through) or blow air (when mounted on the grille side of the radiator, pushing air through). When space permits, the pull configuration is generally preferred, as it allows for uninterrupted natural airflow through the radiator during vehicle movement. Please note that fans are supplied as a fan and shroud only; optional mounts and thermostat controls can be purchased separately to complete your installation.
