Description

OBP Single Layer Brown Silicone Coated Ducting Hose

OBP Air Ducting Hose Single Layer Brown Silicone

OBP Silicone Coated – Spring Steel Wire – Sold Per Metre

The OBP single-layer brown ducting hose is made from a flexible, temperature-resistant brown silicone. It features a steel spring wire that spirals throughout the product to help prevent kinks and maintain airflow, even in tight bends. This makes it ideal for applications like braking ducts, cockpit ventilation, and other low-pressure situations.

What is the Difference Between Black Ducting and Brown Ducting?

One of the most common questions we receive is about the differences between the various ducting options available on the market. The most noticeable difference is the colour—some are black, and some are brown.

Black Ducting is typically made from neoprene and can handle temperatures ranging from -50°C to +150°C. In contrast, our Brown Ducting is constructed from silicone-coated fibreglass fabric reinforced with glass fibre cord, allowing it to withstand temperatures from -70°C to +300°C. It also has a short-term temperature resistance of up to +350°C.

These hoses are sold in one-meter lengths and can be supplied in continuous lengths of up to four meters.
